Jorge E. Rabaso
Chairman of the Board

Jorge E. Rabaso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He married Hisako Hashizume, and they had 2 sons: Louis (14) and Daniel (12). Jorge came to the United States in 1988 to improve himself. In 1992 he started working as an Insurance Agent, and for many years he was recognized  like the Millon Dollars Round Table Agent. His Agency, Rabaso Insurance, offers all kind of insurance and works with different companies to fit the needs of all its clients. Apart from the Life insurance, property and casualty licenses, Jorge Rabaso has licence 6 and 63 for Mutual Fund investments for life insurance, IRAs´s and private retirement investments.

Jorge Rabaso founded Hispanic Business Network in 1998, which is a recognized association in Los Angeles, integrated by Hispanic businessmen and women, most of them immigrants from different countries (www.hispanicgroup.com) and he is also the founder of the project “Helping Our People” created in 2002, (www.ayudandoanuestragente.com) which is a group that sends founds to Latin-American countries though several projects.

On March 2009 Jorge E. Rabaso has been invited by the California Small Business Association to the meeting with the Senator of California, Alex Padilla, to participate along with the most well-known Hispanic leaders in Los Angeles. In April 2009 he has been nominated by the Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger to be part of the Valley Fair Board of Directors (51st District Agricultural Association), and contacted by the Senate of the United States thought the Senator Dianne Feinstein to provide support and assistance in her activities related to the community development.

Nowadays he is the Chairman of the Board of Hispanic Business Network and he is in the board of directors of the Valley Leadership Institute, which is a prestigious foundation that organizes classes for future leaders in San Fernando Valley. He dictates classes about the book “The 7 habits of Highly Effective People”, he wrote an interesting summary of those habits which you can read visiting HBN`s Blog and he is usually invited by several organizations and prestigious companies to dictate motivation talks and business seminars to small and medium enterprises.

He started his 1st Company in 1982 at the age of 22. Then having a degree in Marketing and Publicity In 1987 he started his 2nd Company.

"I have always liked the Real Estate Business so I decided to get my license which I got in 1989, working for some large and not so large Corporations".

Finally opening his own Mortgage & Real Estate Company and 20 years later, he is still in Business… He Named His Company "REL Financial Solutions Inc.  Helping People One Home At The Time".  


TINA M. ALLEGUEZ

Ms. Alleguez received a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and drama from the University of California, San Diego.  While at Pepperdine University School of Law, she coordinated an Entertainment Law Symposium on the topic of government regulation in the music industry and was a founding member of the Hispanic Law Students’ Association.

Ms. Alleguez began her legal career by acquiring extensive experience in the areas of premises liability, products liability, negligent security and entertainment litigation.  She has represented clients with real estate holdings on a national level and has assisted them in reducing their claims, not only by providing risk management advice, but also by drafting their service/lease agreements in such a way as to reduce their exposure.  Ms. Alleguez has led training sessions and seminars for managers of commercial properties on issues of maintenance and safety.  She has also led similar training sessions for companies that provide security services to commercial properties.

Prior to joining Michelman & Robinson, LLP as “of counsel”,  her law firm Alleguez & Associates, Inc .partnered with the Law Offices of Andrew Selesnick to form the firm of Alleguez & Selesnick, LLP.  Before that, Ms. Alleguez was managing partner of the Los Angeles office of Landau, Omahana, Tucker, Progar & Siebenhaar, LLC, a national law firm.   Since forming Alleguez & Associates, Inc., Ms. Alleguez’s practice has emphasized domestic and international business transactions, general business and insurance defense litigation matters in the areas of commercial liability, products liability and trademark and copyright litigation.  She combines her love for the arts and the law by providing general counsel services to a number of production companies, including intellectual property and contract counseling to writers and other artists.

Ms. Alleguez is currently the Secretary of the Hispanic Business Network.  She also served on the Board of the Brazil-California Chamber of Commerce and was an Ambassador with the Encino Chamber of Commerce.  She is also very active in the Club Cultural Cubano, a non-profit organization that helps remind her of her parents’ Cuban roots.  She is listed as an Honored Professional in the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals, 2001-2002 Edition and was voted Super Lawyer in 2005.

Ms. Alleguez is married with two stepdaughters and a three year old daughter.  She enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with her daughters, reading biographies and film.
